Everytime i fix something, something else gets afected… I’m going to try and contact the manager (long story) and hopefully he’ll find a solution to my problem.

hehe.. quite a bold title, :P the thing is up until today i was happy, hmm i’m still happy today though, but i’m not quite as happy as i was a couple of days ago,, you see.. Apple have decided to launch the “NEW” faster MacBook at 2.16GHz for the same price as the older 2.0GHz one, with a 160GB hard disk drive… Thats only about 2 weeks since I bought my laptop.. If i knew i would’ve waited for the new one,,, but it’s ok.. I mean they should’ve at least put an announcement on the product page saying coming soon blah blah blah.. but its ok.. i mean its not like its way different.. it’ll do, just thinking of upgrading the RAM to 2.0 GB, other than that and the graphics card * (i can’t seem to play video’s such as lost, heroes and prison break.. i.e. avi videos) at the same quality that i play on my other laptops with similar graphics cards, something with the video rendering, i have to look at again.. any suggestions on programs, patches or anything i should do ?

….*its a greaaaaaaaat Mac…

My Car is still in the Garage :(

April 28, 2007 on 1:32 pm | In Cars, Infiniti, Kuwait | 3 Comments

=====:( Really Sad :(=====

Its been almost a week now.. my car, still in the garage. The main problem i’m having with them is the fact that they didn’t or cant or dont know how to identify and fix the problem!!

I thought we were done with the identification part, but it wasn’t so.. since i test drove the car today and the problem is still there.. :(

I can’t bare this any longer.. till do we have to suffer because of a monoply of Agencies in Kuwait.. I mean if we had multiple dealers i would’ve at least had a chance to try someone other than Al-Babtain.. Maaan i hope they get their act together.. How they get the ISO9001 certification.. i dunno.. Wish i could talk to somebody about this situation..

“The best just got better” NOOOT??!!!??

April 26, 2007 on 12:25 am | In Cars, Infiniti, Kuwait | No Comments

“The Good, just got better” is an advertising campaign for Nissan Al-Babtain.. One of the worst car garages in the world.. They say they work to ISO 9001 standards and that customer satisfaction is their number one priority.. Well.. Truly.. its anything but that..

You see i’ve got an infiniti G35 Coupe (2005 model). The thing with my car is that ever since i took it, there’s this weird clicking sound in the rear of the car.. So what do you usually do under these circumstances.. U take you car back to the dealer to fix the problem.. right.. Thats exactly what i’ve done, only to realize that nothing was done about the clicking sound coming from the rear of the car.. So the customer service centre usually calls up after a day or two to check every thing’s fine and that your’ satisfied with the service, so i told him the problem and he asked me to schedule a appointment for me to bring my car in.. Then i refused and i asked him to call me when he has a substitute car. the thing is i took my car in on Sunday, got the Nissan TIDA substitute car (you would think, since you have an inifiniti they would give you an infiniti sub. or at least something at the same status as your car.. I don’t think they ever will understand this point.. U SHOULD SEPARATE INFINITI GARAGES and SERVICES from NISSAN.. learn from AlSayer.. they’ve got some of the best garages in Kuwait..!!!) ok.. so i took the Tida.. (the cheapest one in production of-course.. manual windows, door-locks, side view mirrors, as i said in the “Tida Experience Post”The only thing automatic about this car was the transmission. Ok.. Today is when i called an the guy at the infiniti counter was like.. it will hopefully finish by 12 pm today, it just needs to be test driven.. I didn’t get an answer back from him (notice i left uni and went straight to the garage) i waited there for about 1.45 hours only for him to tell me that the guy doing the test doesn’t hear any noise from the front tyres.. If he read the report -> the noise came from the rear!!!!!! i dont really think that the people doing the check are really communicating with the people on the help desk and vica versa.. they only explanation to that was that the staff in the garage was new.. New meaning it took the guy 1 hr 30mins just to figure out he needed to get in the car drive it around for 2 minutes and realize they have not even looked or checked what sort of sound was coming from the car..

I’ve read a service bulletin for the car on-line, that was entitled perform if clicking noise was heard from rear axle, and the procedure to be followed, but i’m not really sure its the problem.. If they couldn’t figure out the problem, ill try to submit the service bulletin to the garage and see what happens..

Please, every time any of you go to Al-Babtain or if any of you have an influence on them or are going to buy a car from the show room, let the guy selling you the car tell you exactly what type of substitute car they are willing to give you.. and how long you have to wait before you get your turn for a substitute car.

Get all of that on paper.. !!! coz the sales people will say one thing and the other guys in the garage will say another..

The Tida experience..

I’ve been given a Nissan Tida sustitute car, since my infiniti G35 is in for servicing and replacing its break pads..

Overall the car’s driving is quite cool, unfortunately the one given to me by Al-Babtain was the cheapest one on the line.. I do believe that they should provide infiniti substitute cars for infiniti owners or something a bit more than a Nissan Tida.. the one i had, had manual windows, manual seats, manual side view mirrors, manual door locks,, the only thing automatic about the car was the transmission..

Drivability.. honestly.. its quite fun to drive, it accelerates quite well for a 4 cylinder car, there is no CD player and i’m using my old mp3 CD player along with an FM transmitter..

Can’t wait to get my car back :( It should finish by tomorrow.. I’ll wait n’d C.. :D
